Through a partnership with CHRC, the Digital Library@Villanova has digitized books, papers, and periodicals owned by the American Catholic Historical Society, the majority of which relate to Irish American history. These materials can be found here.

Two diocesan newspapers are included in this collection: Catholic Standard, later renamed The Catholic Standard & Times, 1866 to 1951, and The Universe: The Catholic Herald and Visitor, 1833-1867.

The records are indexed and keyword searchable. The search is free; however, to view the records a subscription to Findmypast is required.
